If you want to “Power up your Life,” you may be thinking where should I start?
Here’s a quick and easy guide, which I have been following since the beginning of the year. Please let me know if I have been of help to you and your life.
1 Create your intent!
What do you want to do different, or better?
“I want to lose 10 pounds by March 30”, instead of “I want to lose weight.”
Write it down!
It’s easier to have intent when you see it in writing every day. Thoughts and ideas are fleeting. Have a plan. So what if you change gears midway through. Create your intent and go from there.
2 Clean up your eating!
My experience shows me that my digestive system is the key to my energy system.
For the last 3 weeks I have started my day off with a green smoothie, courtesy of my new Nutri Bullet Pro! I love the Nutri Bullet. Throw it in, mix it up, pour, clean, all in under 2 minutes.
My energy has been fantastic. My digestive system is loving it, and now I’ve removed gluten and dairy. I really don’t miss them. Find something that is EASY and FUN and it will be easier to stick with it. Remember, all healing is a PROCESS. Nothing amazing happens overnight. Make lifestyle enhancements.
3 Positive thoughts
What are you thinking from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed?
What system are you using that keeps you focused on a positive you?
My experience from the beginning of this year is that every day I have started my day with a 30 minute walk listening to personal growth masters. I am more energized, positive, and focused than before I began this habit. I love it! Why would I change?
Find a habit that instills positive thoughts in you!
It is essential that you have someone guiding you!
Our world is filled with negative and mind-dulling interests.
Think about it, what good does it do for YOU to read about what the Kardashians are doing, or the 20th article on Donald Trump’s hair?
Focus on YOU! and you will SEE the benefits!
The research is in! If you want to live an active life when you are older, you MUST develop an exercise program when you are younger.
What happens to your body over a lifetime if it is not being utilized as was intended?
What will happen to your respiratory system if it is not being tested?
How about your heart if it is not strengthened through exercise?
What about your muscular system, if it is not constantly contracting and relaxing?
Studies show that cardiovascular exercise three times per week is critical to a healthy longevity.1
If you are not exercising at that level, start NOW, start SLOW, but START.
What is YOUR rhythm? I used to think mine was going to sleep at 11:00 or 11:30, since that’s when I would get tired. Since now going to sleep at 10:30 and waking at 5:30, I am getting only 7 hours but waking up alert and energized.
Find your rhythm and make the sacrifices to ensure that you are waking alert and energized.
